After visits to Bookman’s Alley, Powell’s, and Myopic Books, as well as after receiving gifts from family members, I’ve come away with quite a stack of books. Here are the ones I decided to keep on hand for holiday reading; they are a mix of pleasure reads and books required or suggested for one of my two Spring ‘09 courses. The rest are in two boxes currently en route to my apartment in New York. Posting will resume here imminently. Happy holidays.
